Michael Mortorano- Logistics and Trucking Industry Leader

Michael Mortorano is a successful business person along with a well-known volunteer in various charitable and non-profit organizations. Throughout his long standing career, Michael has owned and operated many successful entities in the logistics and trucking industry. He is well liked for his warm heart and caring personality especially when dealing with his one-on-one relationships with employees. Michael is often remarked on for his “straight-shooter” persona because he has little room for false airs and prefers working with people good natured and of strong character. Throughout his career he has seen and worked with many types of people along his journey but never give him such pleasure as working with the children and people involved with the St. Joseph’s School for the Blind. Michael has always had a passion for children having had three of his own whom he considers his greatest achievements. Additionally, Michael has empathy for blind children as he lost vision in one eye as a small child after being struck by a car.

The logistics and trucking industry seemed to come natural to him. He has a proven track record of success. One would think that in the latter years of a career that a person would like to slow down and enjoy the good life a little but Michael is only getting started. He believes in the quote by Abraham Lincoln, “In the end, it’s not the years in your life that count. It’s the life in your years.” Michael feels he is just getting started and there is still much more ahead for him. With many new ventures he is consulting for on the horizon, we will see nothing but big things from him in the future. Currently, he is still highly involved in the logistics and trucking industry. He has also had interest in medical freight, a booming industry in the US. He tells us we might see some social media projects on his horizon as well. All of this plus his continued involvement with his current charitable organizations, where does he find the time? Well, we know one thing for sure; we will not be seeing the end of a long and bright future for Michael Mortorano any time soon.
